Halloween Treat’s not Trick’s

Picture 127

Candy, suckers, signs, and more at happy delusions. Mrs. Magoo & Lou have all your seasonal items, so you can stand out as the Martha Stewart of your neighborhood.  Give the kids something more that truly says “Hey, your special.” Pictured above is my favorite of their items right now. Frankenstein candy bags. This is what I’ll be giving my niece on Halloween. Only a couple more days to stock up, them these lovely ladies will switch out their ghoulish treats for some Thanksgiving blessings, and Christmas fun.

Little Knits

Looky what I did! I’ve been such a knotty little knitter lately, aka recently switched in my slutty sticks to work on being a happy hooker.  But I’ve been inspired by the cold weather and my pregnant cousin. These are for daughter to be Taylor.

Oktoberfest Silent Auction Tonight!

n75177681946_2512

Be sure to get down to the Whistle Stop tonight for their silent auction. This is a great event, all proceeds go to help their longtime bartender Fran raise money to help pay for all his medical bills. Not only has he had to take time off to deal with leukemia, now he, like many in his situation, are struggling to pay for the outrageous bills, that come along with the stress of being sick in the first place.
Happy Delusions is donating an “I heart Renton” tee, keychain, and button for the occasion.

Here’s a look at a few of the other things up for auction:
A mini Seahawks Helmet signed by Matt Hasselbeck
A Pilsner Urquell Humidor with 12 Rocky Patel Cigars. Nice!
A four hour cruise for four aboard the Whisper (a spectacular sailboat). Includes catered nibbles from the Food Guru LuAnne Wiles, and tasty wines courtesy of Vine Tales and Nancy Patterson! Sweet!
They have tons of great beer wear as well!
They also have special beer on tap, and if you buy a pint, all of the proceeds will go straight to FRAN!
How easy is that.

If all of that doesn’t have you running down there yet, add a Polka Band. They start at 7 so come early and get a place to sit and eat our fabulous German Sausage and Kraut Dinner.
The goal tonight is $5000.00! You can make that happen!

Totin around in La La Land

blueq-tote-handy-la-la-land

Birch trees, deer, clouds all floating in pink and gray. It must be la la land, and I have to tell you it’s a really cute place to be.

This cute tote Made from 95% post consumer waste in the form of used plastic bottles and grain sacks is a much more green way to shop around town.

If you, like me, live in your own world of wonder most the time, I think this is the bag for you.

Also, be sure to pick up the matching la la land lip balm while your here and enjoy the tasty peppermint flavor with a little dose of rosemary.
