Renton’s 3rd Annual Film Frenzy Curvee Award show is tonight! 7pm at the Ikea Performing Arts Center at Renton High School. During the weekend of Oct. 8 -10 21 film crews set out to make 5 minute shorts shot throughout Renton. This was a rainy weekend and out of the 21 teams who entered only 17 got the films in by 7 on Sunday the 10th. Tonight the top films in both the student and adult divisions will be shown and awarded with the prestigious Curvee Award. Hand-blown curved glass courtesy of Uptown Glassworks in DTR. If you can’t make it to the show tonight be sure to check the website, rentonfilmfrenzy to see where you can catch the films throughout the week at different cafe’s and restaurants around town. Also premiering tonight is the new Renton commercial featuring yours truly. And I know you want to be among the first to see that.

That’s right y’all the new I heart Renton tee’s are here. Hot off the press, I literally just opened the box and boom! They have started to sell.
After 3 years of I heart Renton Success, and many request for multiple designs, it was decided it was time to retire the classic white ringer tee for a classic black tee. If you haven’t gotten the classic ringer tee yet, don’t worry there are still a couple left. But hurry because once they’re gone, they’re gone.
DTR’s own Black Anchor Clothing is awesome and got these tee’s here within a week of the order. So come by and show your love for Renton. Oh, and a special shout out to Jess for being the first to sport the new tee!
