The New “I Heart Renton”

The new I heart Renton tee’s are here! The new I heart Renton tee’s are here!

That’s right y’all the new I heart Renton tee’s are here. Hot off the press, I literally just opened the box and boom! They have started to sell.

After 3 years of I heart Renton Success, and many request for multiple designs, it was decided it was time to retire the classic white ringer tee for a classic black tee. If you haven’t gotten the classic ringer tee yet, don’t worry there are still a couple left. But hurry because once they’re gone, they’re gone.

DTR’s own Black Anchor Clothing is awesome and got these tee’s here within a week of the order. So come by and show your love for Renton. Oh, and a special shout out to Jess for being the first to sport the new tee!

Make new tee's, but keep the old. One is Black and the other is White!

Thank You for 3 Great Years!

Thank you to all our amazing customers and supports for supporting happy delusions for the past 3 years. It truly has been an incredible journey that continues to change my life everyday. The Renton community has been great and I couldn’t have asked for better customers. My family, friends, community, and all around support group  have really helped push me up to be a better person, citizen, and business owner. I honestly could not have done it without all these factors. Without this journey, that is still just beginning, I wouldn’t have met all the wonderful talented people in the area. I wouldn’t have grown in my relationship with my parents in the way I have. I wouldn’t have met and fallen in love with the most wonderful man, who happened to open a coffee shop next door, Liberty Cafe. I have had the opportunity to connect with my neighborhood, and community on a level I never thought possible. And I’ve started being almost something like a responsible adult. Yikes! And AWESOME! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. Please do come by and say hello, and pick up your FREE happy delusions glow in the dark keychain, as our humble Thank you gift for 3 years down, and many many more to come. And while your at it, please on online and vote for us “Best Gift Shop in Western Washington” by King 5, Evening Magazine, Best of Western Washington.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!!

fireworksHave a wonderful 4th everyone. Be safe, have fun, and be sure to take a moment and remember why we are celebrating. This year has been a good reminder of what is good and true in life, and the 4th is our time to really appreciate our freedom. The future of our freedom and independence belongs to us. Lets make an effort, all of us, to END THIS WAR. Lets make an effort to bring back are rights that are under attack. Let us make an effort to each stand up as leaders and make our community even stronger.  Let us be the change we wish to see in the world. Keep it local, get involved, make a difference, use your rights, and let us all bring back the image of America as the friendly, caring country that wishes to help those in need, and show the world what our fore-fathers fought so hard for is still alive in our hearts and heads. Live your dream. Coexist. Peace.

The Picaroon

For all your Renton garrrr-sop.

For all your Renton garrrr-sop.

If you live in or around Renton, or are planning a trip to the area you absolutely must check out “The Picaroon”. Lady P as she refers to herself is the “Mistress of the blog”. She’s very local and truly cares about the community and the people in it. Every time I visit The Picaroon (which, if you didn’t know as I didn’t, means pirate) there is a new post. Sometimes she post several times a day AND she has a second more personal blog that is also updated regularly.  Lady P takes beautiful photo’s and really gets in touch with the people. Her focus is mainly the downtown area, which makes complete sense for someone who lives and plays in our wonderful downtown. Although the very bouncy, cheerful, sunshine that is Lady P has requested that photo’s of her not be posted, but look out for her at the next city function taking pictures. She may even ask to use your photo in her very popular blog. And for goodness sakes, if you have an event coming up that you think us locals should know about please contact her. After all her info. is likely posted that day.
