handmade comedy!

This Tuesday, March 16th from 8 – 9:30, at The Comedy Underground. The Etsy Rain team will be knit’n up some wears while gettin their comedy on. handmade comedy is a benefit for the “Friends of Orphans“, which  provides financial and volunteer support and have orphan homes in nine different countries including Haiti. So get down there and knit away the night, as the place will be full of like-minded crafters with a heart to help those in need. They are hoping that everyone in the audience will join in. How cool is that. Go team Etsy Rain. Seriously, these ladies ROCK!!!!

Jonah has been with happy delusions for over a year now and I still can’t get enough of her fabulous fabrics. Mostly imported from Japan and super cute to boot! Maluhia designs seems to get a lot of attention where ever it’s seen. Really at no surprise to me because Jonah is one of the hardest working crafters I know. Her bags, luggage tags, key rings, mirrors, coin purses, clutches, totes, and tampon holders are the cutest things around, and really stand out. You can find her here at happy delusions as well as a multitude of places on-line, including etsy. You can spot Jonah at most of the funky craft shows around town, always with a smile on her face. My first Blog!

Wow. I can’t believe I’m doing this myself. CRAZY. For a hip lady, like myself, who fancy’s herself to be a cybor robot, I know very little about life on the web. Yet here I am about to embark on blogging once a week. I can do it. I know I can. I’ll be posting all about my fantastic shop “happy delusions” and all the great merchandise we have, and all the wonderful people that come thru to say hi.

I just celebrated my first full year of business and things are going great. Here is my Mom and I at the big store gala last friday. Wine, cupcakes, and crazy fun people. We had a good time.
