Velvet, cashmere, silk, taffeta, are all some of the upcycled “feel me” fabrics behind the one-of-a-kind accessories and home decor made on a budget by Ms. Maude. Finding most of her materials at thrift stores, and yard sales makes it easy to pass the savings on to you, and kudos’ for helping to give new life to a tired sweater or unused vintage button.

Light up our Globe
Happy Earth Day! To celebrate I’ve decided to share one of my favorites, as far as globes go. This beautiful Chandelier was done by Benoit Vieubled. 15 Vintage Globes strung together, lit up, and totally out of this world. I’m quite in love with this piece.
Scattergood
I just love Scattergood. A wonderful compliment of vintage and modern mixed media. And with so many saying to choose from, you can never go wrong. Keep up the good work Ms. Bennett.
Love to Love You!
OMG! I just bought the cutest skirt EVER! Of course I found it on Etsy. And of course it’s from Portland, OR., which just seems to cultivate amazing crafters. The seamstress behind this beautiful skirt made from vintage fabric is Loni Gaghan, who’s online shop on etsy is lovetoloveyou. Most of her items are one of a kind being that she uses a mixture of vintage fabrics in most of her work. If you don’t see something in your size, you can contact her and she will see if she can make something similar in your size. What a nice lady. Man I love esty! And I’m gonna love rockin this diddy around town. Oh yeah!
Playin in the 70′s

Mary never fails to bring in funky jewelry made not only with love, but with charms of times past. I love all the fun plastic charms of my childhood, and get so giddy when I see them reappear in my life in form of something I can cherish once again. Being a product of my time, I also enjoy her fun wall hangings done with fabrics that are so fabulously vintage it’s hard to pick just one.

Nothing could possible complete my kitchen better than this 8x12 mushroom wall hanging on vintage fabric.
Sportin the goods
Recently I was hanging out in Liberty Cafe, when Crystal came in sportin some goods from happy delusions. Thanks Crystal for being such a great model for the cool things you may find at hd’s.

Most days Crystal can be found most days serving coffee and making cupcakes up the street at Common Ground Coffee & Cupcakes. Always well accessorized and dressed to impress.
Scatter Good
Stef Bennett makes the most amazing mixed media pieces that are sure to tug on your heart strings. A great mixture of vintage images mixed with uplifting sayings and all put on a floral backdrop. With cards, magnets, and prints you are sure to find a perfect one for any occasion.

Nesting Dolls

Nesting Animals
I have always loved Nesting Dolls and was so excited to get in this set of Animal Nester’s by Two’s Co. Perfect for a vintage feel in any child’s bed or play room.

cards for every occasion
Jane Hashash makes these great cards with vintage photo’s, prints, and I’m guessing wrapping paper. I just love them. Jane has cards for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and ones that just say hello, which I love because getting a card or sending a card for no reason is always the best. My favorite card, and the one I’ve given a couple of times, is the vintage print yellow and orange umbrella’s with rain and just a simple “hello” message. I love it. Great designs and low prices makes these cards a no brainer for the savvy gift giver on a budget.

Love this one.
